Major Deepak Raj, a seasoned soldier-scholar with over two and a half decades of experience in building high performance teams. With a strong vision for tapping human potential and creating a culture of lifelong learners, he has traversed his life in helping people find directions in life.
As a founding member and former Director of Indus School of Leadership, he has straddled the design and delivery of experiential learning programs and behavioral interventions spanning from students to corporate leaders. His real-life combat experience real time warfare and peace keeping as an officer in the Indian Army, coupled with his corporate stint as a senior leader with multinationals helps him cross-pollinate ideas for insightful interactions and build teams with shared values and vision. He revels in designing and delivering form and content tailor- made to organizational needs without failing to compel audiences for an enriched living.
He has extensively coached and mentored over 7,000 senior leaders from companies such as Wipro Technologies, Bally Technologies, HP, Sterlite Industries, Google, Hitachi, Mantri Developers, Accent HR, Accenture, CTS, Ellucian, Trident Truckers, Ab InBev, Cardinal Health, Gremot Mobility, Ascon, Saggezza, Ab InBev, Astra Zenca etc. He also trained and coached more than 35,000 students and educators on leadership, strategies, management and soft skills. Currently, as a senior facilitator and principal consultant at Value Lanes, he is mentoring startups and students on leadership, management, strategies, communication, teamwork, and soft skills. He is also a senior mentor for women entrepreneurs with Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
Amongst other accreditations, he is an infantry commando, a specialist in jungle and urban warfare, a certified Executive and Life Coach by ICF, a certified master NLP, Cognitive behavior therapist, Master train the trainer, Advanced facilitator by Project Adventure, USA, DiSC Assessor, mental conditioning coach, and an post graduate of Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata.
He is a voracious reader, passionate biker, fitness enthusiast and a doting father.
